We are an independent florist providing for the individuals' need.

April was established in 1989 by Ida Cook along with her daughter Julie. The shop is now run by Julie.The shop has built it''s reputation in providing quality, fresh flowers at affordable prices to suit all budgets and for all occasions.

We have developed this site for our customer to buy online so we can effectively be open 24/7. We do like to discuss with our customers their requirements but realise it is sometimes difficult to call during our opening hours.

The items for online ordering are suitable for gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, babies etc. We do wedding work and funeral work but would prefer to discuss such orders with our customers to ensure all details are accurate.

We can send our flowers countrywide using a courier or special delivery. Our local delivery area covers YO11, YO12 and YO13 addresses.

We stock environmentally friendly and socially responsibly grown carnations and spray carnations as standard  (Columbian Florverde approved) and some FFP (Fair Flowers Fair Plants) Flowers and plants e.g. Gerbera, Longi Lilys, Cream LA Lily, Avalanche Rose and others as available.

In shop we compost our green waste and try to be efficient with our deliveries, buy locally produced flowers as available in season e.g. Daffodils, Tulips, Chrysanthemums. We are only a small shop but because of this we can offer a personal service and always aim to provide what our customers have ordered to suit the individual recipient.
